About us
Calexico Neighborhood House Preschool Program offers serves for 3-5-year-old children. It prepares the children for successful school entry achievement by promoting language, literacy, mathematics, health and safety, social and cognitive skills. We have more than 66 years helping families taking care of their children.
Mission
To provide quality child care for children ages 3-5 years of age in a safe loving and nurturing environment. To provide a support system for families in our care and this shall include referrals to an appropriate social service, and parent’s education.
Vision
Calexico Neighborhood House Preschool Program believes that every child is a unique individual. The staff nurtures their growth with kindness, love and respect. Full-time Program
Full-time program offers service hours from 7:30AM to 5:30PM
Child’s schedule is based on parent’s class, training and/or working schedule. To qualify for full time services parent’s must be working and/or attending classes. Full time classroom is located at 4th Street Site.
*Families shall meet the eligibility criteria as specified by the California Department of Education
Part-time Program
Part-time program offers two sessions: 8:00AM to 11:30AM and 12:30PM to 4:0PM
Part time services are offered at 4th Street & Preston Site. *Families shall meet the eligibility criteria as specified by the California Department of Education.
Family Literacy Program
Parents are encouraged to participate in the Family Literacy Program which includes:
- Adult Literacy
- Parent Education
- Early Childhood Education
Parent & Child “Together Time” Parents are encouraged to participate in the 10-week course before his/her child completes the school year
